Self Registration

The Digital Library administrator creates and controls user accounts and privileges. All users should self-register unless otherwise advised. If a password was not emailed to you (after you self registered) please contact your administrator via the Help Center Contact page.

If enabled, follow these steps to register as a Digital Library user. The user account created when you register has limited privileges that are determined by the Digital Library system administrator.   

Step 1: Click the Self Registration button on the Login screen.


Step 2: Enter the following information. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Username: A username; the name to use to log into Digital Library.
First Name: Your first name.
Last Name: Your last name.
Email: Your email address.
Company: Your company name.
Department: Your department name within the company.
Address/City/State or Province/Country/Zip or Postal Code: Enter your company's complete address.
Remarks: Enter any additional comments in this text box.
Type the image shown: This is a challenge/response security feature, known as CAPTCHA, that forces human interaction and prevents automated web scripts from creating accounts. The CAPTCHA characters are case-sensitive. This is a mandatory field.
You must check the box next to “I have read and agree to the terms”.  Remember to scroll down and read the agreement.


Step 3: Click Register.


Step 4: Click Ok when the pop up window appears.


NOTE: An email, containing a password, is sent to the email address you entered.
The email will be title “Telescope on Demand”.  

Step 5. Click the Validation Link.

NOTE: Your temporary password is included in this email.

Step 6.    Select a company.


Step 7.    Log in to Digital Library with the username you entered in the Self Registration screen, and the password sent to you in an email. Once you are logged in, you can change your password to something you can easily remember.
